Mark Hitchcock is a pastor who has written several helpful books on prophecy. A graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary, Hitchcock studied under men like J. Dwight Pentecost. Dr. Pentecost wrote the book Things to Come which for many years was a standard reference work on all themes and texts related to biblical prophecy. Mark Hitchcock believes it is time for new work with a similar goal.
I have not read Hitchcock’s book entitled The End, but I have purchased and looked through the Kindle version. I believe it should be a valuable resource on biblical prophecy. Hitchcock addresses the various prophetic views in his book, but teaches the premillennial, pretribulational position that I believe best represents the teaching of Scripture.
Here is why I am writing this blog post. The End
by Mark Hitchcock retails in Hardcover for $22.99. Right now, and for only a brief time (maybe to March 8?) it is available in Kindle format for $2.99. A good reference work, of over 500 pages, on biblical prophecy, from a trusted author for $2.99? That is not a difficult purchase decision. That’s why I just bought it! You can purchase it here.
