Reformation Day Free Download: R.C. Sproul’s Luther and the Reformation

October 31 is Reformation Day. It is on this day in 1517 that Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg church. This was the typical way of calling for a debate. The theses were statements he wanted to debate that went to the heart of the issues that would lead to the Reformation—the break with the Roman Catholic church over salvation by faith alone, the Scriptures alone as our source of inerrant truth, and other central issues.

Today only, Ligonier Ministries is offering R.C. Sproul’s series on “Luther and the Reformation” at no charge. The video, audio, and pdf notes may all be downloaded for free here.
